The University of Pittsburgh is consistently recognized as one of the top 10 Dental Schools in the United States. In this role, Jerry oversaw all admissions processes at the School of Dental Medicine for applicants which include the Pre-Doctoral DMD program, the dental school’s specialty Residency Programs, Advanced Standing program for foreign trained dentists, and Dental Hygiene Program. He also served on the ADEA National Advisory Board for Liaison AADSAS Dental Application. He was one of ten Dental School Directors of Admission tasked with analyzing and enhancing DMD applications, addressing questions and concerns, and making suggestions to improve the application experience for both applicants and Admissions professionals

Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Jerry led the admissions efforts for Slippery Rock University’s 32 Graduate programs. He specialized and spear-headed improvements to the admissions processes of health science terminal degree programs including Slippery Rock University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). The PT program at Slippery Rock was the first in the nation to offer a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Other programs included Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), Physician Assistant Studies (PA), Public Health and Master’s in Nursing. Additionally, he oversaw the admissions process for the Master’s in Education/Teaching, Doctor of Education (EdD), Masters in Counseling, Masters in Criminal Justice, Master’s in TESOL and Master’s of Business Administration. Slippery Rock is recognized as one of the top institutions in the Pennsylvania State Education System and its graduate programs draw students from across the country and around the world to study in their esteemed programs.

Waynesburg University, Waynesburg, PA

Jerry led the recruitment and admissions efforts of Waynesburg University’s Master’s of Business Administration program and undergraduate degree completion program in Business (BMP) at its four regional locations in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. During that time, Waynesburg was recognized for having the largest MBA program (Active Students) in the Pittsburgh region.

Methodist University, Fayetteville, NC

Assistant Football Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

While at Methodist University, Jerry served as the Monarch’s Wide Receiver’s and Offensive Line Coach. After his first year at Methodist, he was elevated to Recruiting Coordinator to supplement his role as Offensive Line Coach. His recruitment was focused in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Virginia.

Averett University, Danville, VA

Jerry began his professional career as a graduate assistant football coach. He was promoted to a full time coaching role, where he coached Averett’s Offensive Line and served as the team’s Strength and Conditioning and Recruiting Coordinator. His recruitment success eventually led to his appointment as Director of Undergraduate Admissions for the University. While at Averett he built numerous relationships as he actively led the recruitment efforts in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Maryland/D.C.
